With the aim of promoting new theories, methods and techniques for knowledge management, innovation management and project engineering, the Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (IOHE) in conjunction with the Technical Particular University of Loja (UTPL for its Spanish initials), Yachay Public Company, Ecuador, among other international organizations present the Fourth International Conference on Knowledge and Innovation (CIkI) and the Fifth Iberoamerican Conference on Engineering Projects (CIIP).
During the 13th and 14th November, international experts from countries like Mexico, Korea, Spain, Argentina, Colombia, Panama, Sweden, Germany, Brazil, Peru, Canada, USA and Ecuador share their knowledge with participants, about innovation , knowledge management, technology parks, engineering projects, etc.
The event will feature renowned international figures like Samuel Álvarez, CEO of IN NOVA Group -Spain; Mateo Valero Cortés, director of the Barcelona Supercomputing National Center; Víctor Sánchez, National Director of Innovation at the Panama National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation, among other distinguished panelists.
While both conferences are being run, the directive committee and the board of directors of the Inter-American Organization for Higher Education (IOHE) will meet, and the Andean Countries Regional Assembly will gather, which is scheduled to feature the heads of universities in the region.
In addition, the programmed IGLOO senior management course designed for university leaders of America and the Iberoamerican Network on Projects Engineering (RIPRO) directed to a hundred students in the country take place on the same day.
As part of these two conferences, the first Inter-American Innovation Fair will be developed with the academic support of the Ecuadorian Innovation Network (REI for its Spanish intials), which aims to bring together universities, businesses and government agencies from across America with their innovative and entrepreneurship-focused cases to be shared among participants.
This event is also a space for the dissemination of research works, which were convened during the year, and reviewed by first class scientific committees for publication in indexed journals, which are part of both events. (SA / YACHAY-EP and UTPL)
