In order to address key aspects of web based knowledge management for society and science, Yachay Public Company and the University of Fribourg in Switzerland, inaugurated the Second International Conference on e-Democracy and e -Government (ICEDEG 2015).
The day began with the participation of exhibitors Luis Terán and Victor Gonzalez of the University of Fribourg in Switzerland, who discussed with the participants about the transition of regions to a society of information and knowledge.
The goal of the three-day conference was to generate and share knowledge in the field of e- Democracy and e-Government, with national and international experts.
The workshop aimed at researchers, public officials, private sector, students and citizens in general, covered technical and non-technical aspects of e-Society, e-Governance, e-Participation, e-Democracy, e-Administration and e-Health, among others.
To conclude the event, the participants took a tour of Yachay City of Knowledge on the morning of Saturday April 11th. (GM-SA / YACHAY-EP)
